They had not seen movies of themselves as kids and their parents and grandparents taken by my Dad up to fifty years ago. All of a sudden the nostalgia of those times has come alive again for them at their computers. We have been able to talk though the movies as they played, by telephone or even Skype and laugh and reminisce together as we recognized the people appearing from the past as though they had never left. You cannot imagine the joy of being able to bring alive my parents and grandparents, myself and my immediate family as they were many years ago. My granddaughter often asks to see "little Terry" and really grasps the extent of her background as we pick and choose favorite scenes that she loves to watch again and again without having to go through the whole film. The ability to share these specific, edited "moving" experiences in color with close friends and family in different countries has been a real joy.
